Aretxaga is the trademark of our sheep cheese. The name comes from a Basque family of settlers called Jiménez de Aréchaga who arrived in Uruguay at the beginning of the 1800s and currently apply their talents in Granmolino S.A., together with strategic partners from Spain –TGT- and Uruguay. Natural and economic resources are combined in a state-of-the art agro-industrial enterprise that seeks excellence through a virtuous circle in order to supply the market with animal proteins.
